I would never think to use paper clips this way. I was wondering how they worked with people who had sensitive ears. Will they cause your ear to break out after wearing them for a day? I almost always have to use surgical steel posts for that very reason, but I would love to make these.

Hi SissieSass, I also have sensitive ears and because of that I would probably avoid wearing these myself. But, you could easily use surgical steel jewelry wire instead of paperclips and still make similar cute and colorful earrings like these.
