These are very pretty but I have to agree with a previous poster. They are somewhat expensive to make.by the time I get the cz's the settings, chain, etc they would be cheaper to buy. The whole idea for DIY in my mind is to save money by making things myself.

Thank you for posting a simple design and giving people ideas about ways to customize them too. You created an easy to understand tutorial that uses minimal supplies so that the project is quick. Sometimes, I want something flashy, but most of the times i think it is the simple things that look most elegant.

These certainly sparkle but have to say that I think there are less expensive ways to achieve that sparkle without relying on pre-made settings for the stones or crystals
