What a cute idea. I have been working with clay for some time now and have never seen a berry that color. But my ten year old grand daughter has decided she likes teal. So guess what I am going to make her for her birthday? Then grandma will make herself a traditional berry with smaller matching ones for earrings.

Well, thats certainly different. Ive never seen a strawberry in that color before. You totally are not a traditionalist. Your DIY strawberry looks as good as the name brand one and totally rocks the look. Not really sure if this should be categorized as an easy project, but I guess if you have worked with clay before it would be. I just have not worked with clay and find it a little intimidating. I dont know what type of berry mine would turn out to be.

I love the quirky twist of making a teal colored berry, and I could see making another in the traditional berry color as well! Or even fabricating a cluster of berries on the chain together, or three evenly placed! Lots of options for some pretty fruit hanging on a chain! Lovely!
