Ever since I retired I hardly ever wear a watch. I have so many of them without good batteries in them tastic are just in my jewelry case wasting away. I think I will dig one of them out and give this project a shot. I don't care if it tells the time or not, I am using it as the center piece to the necklace. What a quick and easy way to make use of one of them. Thank you for sharing your cleverness.
