It doesn't get much easier than this to make yourself some wire jewelry. Ki have been making it for years and this was one of my first projects. It's easy, inexpensive and fun. Plus if you make a mistake, who will know? I would suggest stainless steel or stainless steel over silver as the sure. It won't tarnish and some people are allergic to certain metal components .
