What a novel idea. So inexpensive, easy and pretty. I love the look and this can be made in no time. I have all kinds of ribbon to use. And hundreds of beads so I am set. The hardest part will be trying to decide what colors to use. A black and white necklace would be very useful. You can wear it with anything. I am going to go thru my box of ribbons to see what I like. Thank you for sharing this.

I made my own version of this necklace in under 10 minutes. It's a great way to use and re-use your favorite beads and ribbon collection! Very practical idea!! I used hand sewing needle #12 to string the beads into the ribbon. A bead reamer really helps when the hole is too tight for the ribbon to go through.
