This Gold DIY Statement Necklace is the perfect accent piece for a plain outfit. You'll need to be patient to shape the wood beads, but the finished necklace is definitely worth the time investment. This design uses wooden beads to create a unique geometric design. Thanks to the help from some gold paint, you can transform wood into luxurious-looking beads. This is one of the cutest, easiest necklaces to make. I have made bracelets this way so maybe it's time to do a necklace. I think a pair of small earrings would be adorable also. Seed beads are the most inexpensive beads and come in every color you can imagine. This idea is going to get passed along to my beginners jewelry making friends.
