Materials List
- 12 round beads in mixed colours
- 20cm thin wire
Instructions
-
Take your wire and fold it so that one end it longer than the other. Place one of your beads at the fold.
-
Take another bead, and thread it onto the wire as well.
-
Take two beads, and put them on the end of the wire that you didnt thread the previous bead onto.
-
Take the end of the other piece of wire, and thread it through the second bead that you just threaded on. You should end up with a diamond shape.
-
Take the shorter piece of wire and thread three beads on it.
-
Pull it back through its starting bead.
-
Bring the longer piece of wire down through the bead directly below it.
-
Then thread two beads onto it and bring it through the final bead from step five and the bead from step seven.
-
Repeat steps seven and eight using the next bead in the original diamond.
-
Now what you have to do is bring all of the sides together to form a cube. For the section you have just finished, bring the end of the wire up through the final bead.
-
Do the same for the section you completed in steps five and six, using the first bead instead.
-
Continue using the wire from step eleven and thread one bead onto it, before threading it through the bead from step ten
-
Using either piece of wire, reinforce the top of your cube by threading it through each of the beads several times.
-
Cut off the wire ends and tuck them into the centre of the cube.
