This is a great idea. Did you try doing 2 wires, one on both sides of seams? and what did you do to the one raw edge of the jeans? Thanks so much for sharing.

Hi Tracy, It looks like the designer just used one piece of memory wire, sliding it into the space between the seams. The blogger did not say what she did to the raw edge, but I would guess she trimmed it as close as possible to the seam and possibly used a fray check/seam sealant to keep the edge looking neat. I hope that helps!

lol Great minds thinking alike here, Weberme. As I looked at the finished denim bracelet I could see flat beads or gemstones glued here and there along the length of the bracelet, and the three girls having a great time decorating them (once they fought that wire into them)

This is a good way to recycle your jeans which most of us have. Most projects I have seen that you can make require the jeans without the side so this is a great place to use those side seams. These denim wrap bracelets are going to be a great summer project for kids to do. This is a great tutorial because it is so easy and quick. I am going to lay out wire,jean side strips,beads and gemstones so the kids could let their imagine go wild. I can see gemstones going along the bracelet.
