Materials:
- Quick Snippers tool
- round nose pliers
- piercing tool
- 2 black 4mm Swarovski Elements Crystal
- 2 silver 4mm Swarovski Elements Crystal
- 2 gray 4mm Swarovski Elements Crystal
- 4 black feathers
- 1 sheet animal skin pattern textured surface paper from Blick
- 2 24-gauge 2-inch silver plated base metal head pins
- 2 silver plated crimp end caps
- 2 silver plated jump rings
- 1 pair sterling hoop earrings
- eyelet setter tools, 2 eyelets for extra support (optional)
Instructions:
1.) Using the Quick Snippers tool, cut two separate 3x1-inch pieces of colored patterned paper using the design scissors of your choice. Pierce a hole at the top center portion of the paper. (Add eyelets for support, if desired. Completed pieces will be inserted onto hoop earrings.
2.) Insert the feather quill into the silver plated crimp end. Using round nose pliers, squeeze one side of the chain end and then the other flat against the quill. Add jump ring to the completed feather piece.
3.) Repeat step 2 with each of the remaining feathers.
4.) Place one 4mm silver crystal bead onto one head pin. Turn a simple loop at the open end of the head pin to secure beads in place. In the same manner as in the previous step, add each bead in following sequence:
- one 4mm black bead
- one 4mm silver bead
- one 4mm silver bead
- one 4mm gray bead
- one 4mm gray bead
5.) Repeat steps 1-4 for the second earring.
6.) First attach the feather element to the wire hoop; then add the design paper piece, and then add the beaded loop.
