Umm ok, it's unique that's for sure. It rather looks like my safety pin drawer when I mistakenly put a magnet in there. I think I will pass on this one but it is just me. I would rather take a large craft safety pin, thread beads or pearls on it and hook a chain on each end. Add a clasp and easy peasy you have a neat simple clean pearl bar necklace.
