DIY Clay Bowl Instructions
-
Roll your clay into a long thin rope.
-
Make 7 swirls out of the clay that you just rolled. Make sure they are all the same size.
Pro Tip: To make sure they are the same size stack your new swirl on top of your original to use that as your guide on where to cut your clay. -
Using your baking bowl, flip the bowl over so that it is dome shaped and place your first swirl in the middle.
-
Press each swirl around the edges of the swirl you put in the middle of the bowl. If there are some slight gaps that is okay.
-
Press and smash down the swirls so that all the gaps are filled in.
-
Create a decorative edge of your choosing, or leave it as it is.
-
Cut a little extra rope off th end and form an open circle with it to act as a foot for your bowl.
-
Place your bowl, while still pressed onto your baking bowl, in the oven at 275 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.
