Every so often an old button will turn up at a farm auction if one is patient enough to look through the button jar or button bag some of them are valuable, others are merely beautiful and leave one wishing there were a set instead of a singleton. Now I know what to do with the singletons. And from now on shall bid on the button bags and jars... but what to do with the plain shirt buttons and trouser buttons... anyone need bingo markers? I think I may have a lot of them...
