OH my goodness this is adorable. I have to make it for my daughter in law. They have five kids and each one is a different zodiac stone so it will be very colorful. It is very easy and I have everything I need so it's also very inexpensive. Thank you.

This family tree brooch is pretty impressive and can also be worn as a pendant. You can get two different looks by either dangling the stones or gems, or tightening the, directly on the 'branches'. For added pizzazz, it would be cute to add so,e jade type stones for leaves. I could see this also on a curved length of reinforced wire to make a bracelet. Or even just hanging on a mirror or picture frame when not wearing it! Clever design!

What a great idea this Family tree brooch is and a great mothers day gift with all the birthstones of the children or even a grandmother with the birthstones of all the grandchildren. What grandmother would not love one of these brooches or even a necklace.I know I would.This is a real simple project when you read this tutorial and I would add more branches if you need too. Has anyone made one another way?
