This necklace is described as for the beach - its bloodstone, jasper, and silver beads are described as giving it an earthy tone and creating a classy look for the beach. Frankly, I can't see it. Yes, it has earthy tones and it is a classy looking necklace but I see it with a jewel neckline sweater or dress in shades of brown or perhaps hunter green. This necklace is not relegated to summers and the beach it can go anywhere it wants to go any time of year that beckons to it. Total class and pizzazz
