Whoever came up with the idea to use paint chips for crafts and jewelry is a genius. The idea seems to be gaining steam. I love this little necklace. I don't know that I'm crazy about the petal shape, but completely customize-able. Has anyone used the gloss mentioned? It doesn't appear glossy in the picture. Any suggestions for covering the back of the paint chip?

A while back I was given a booklet of discontinued paint chip samples and used it for mosaic art, but never thought of this neat idea! I love that you can add some gloss! i could see making a flower brooch pin or hair barrette using this technique. Such a great idea and so versatile too! Thanks for sharing!

I've seen other paint chip jewelry tutorials before and this is definitely the chicest out there. I also like the idea of making the paint chip petals "shiny," or attempting an ombre effect.

What a great idea for a knock-off. I'm going to use cardstock & Liquid Glass(Close To My Heart) to make it 'shiny'
