These earrings are so easy to make. I am thinking about making several pair with my nieces when they come into town for the holidays. Do you have a preference between using the store bought dangles or making them yourself with wire? I have had good luck with both styles and they look identical.

To me, it tends to be a bit cheaper to make the dangles with wire. When you are making a lot of these types of earrings for gifts or any other reason, it can get expensive to buy the dangles. If you have had great success with both and you have the time then I would suggest just saving yourself a few extra dollars and making them!

'simple and quick to make' in under an hour for a bit of Christmas festivity - great idea and easy to put together inexpensive too and not restricted to Christmas, other bright colours add cheer to any day or season. One of those projects that let one relax between complex ones
